Object Reflection
Object Reflection is a juxtaposition between a machine and human way of vision. Contemplating how people and machines see the world through landscapes, objects and code.
Images taken by a CCTV camera facing out of an apartment window were placed into object detection and imaging labelling programmes. Where these systems would generate labels based on what they objects they would see in the images.
The labels provided from this acted as prompts to interpret and photograph the words given, from a human point of view. The photographs contained in the body of work demonstrates a human response to machine vision, whilst being accompanied by 'labelling boxes' opposite the objects photographed. Mimicking the process of how machines are initially taught.
